Ruger Ranch Surrounding Areas
Prescott, Arizona
The charming
City of Prescott, Arizona, which was founded in 1863 and
was once the territorial capitol of Arizona is located
near both Ruger Ranch and Saddle Creek Ranch.
Those wishing to leave their rural ranches for a day or
shopping or a night out on the town will find that
Prescott offers all of the amenities of a big city, such
as hospitals, medical facilities, shopping,
entertainment, etc.
Prescott plays host to many annual
events such as the weeklong festivities of the "World's
Oldest Rodeo" Frontier Days, featuring a parade, rodeo
events, and street dances. Enjoy summer nights sitting
on the Prescott Courthouse lawn listening to free
concerts or browsing the craft shows. Into
running? You'll be at a perfect elevation to train
for the Whiskey Row Marathon - one of the toughest
marathon events in the United States. Love to fly?
You'll love flying in to the Prescott Municipal Airport
and being near home.
Phoenix, Arizona
Phoenix and Scottsdale are located approximately 100
miles north of Prescott. If you want to do some
serious shopping or watch a professional sporting event,
then take a day trip down to the Valley of the Sun.
When you get there, you'll be happy to note that the
temperatures in Ruger Ranch average 20 degrees less than
those of Scottsdale or Phoenix. |
